Big Ticket

BIG TICKET SYSTEMimg3

This option will suit your business if you sell “one-off” products or services

img2

For example, this “Big Ticket” Fuel For Less System would suit you if you market products such as whitegoods, furniture, air-conditioning, motor vehicles, caravans, swimming pools, security doors, fencing, kitchen renovations or computers.

And if you’re in the “service” game, this system would suit you if you were a landscaper, builder, removalist, pest controller or travel agent (and lots of other services – these are just examples).

In other words, this system would suit you if you sell products or services that are a one-off investment of a few hundred dollars or more (quite possibly thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars).

Whereas our other option (the Retail System) suits businesses such as retailers because of its repetitive trade influence, the Big Ticket System provides your

clients with “a one-off bonus” of a weekly fuel discount over a particular time period.

You can devote 10% of your sale price to the Fuel For Less program.

Or if you’d prefer, you can choose to devote 7.5% or even 5% of your sale price to the Fuel For Less program – the choice is yours.

We’ve designed this system so that it’s flexible and can suit your budget.

When you become an FFL Licensee, we help you strike the right balance in terms of your “FFL budget per sale” and your “fuel discount amount and number of weeks” (eg: 10% of sale devoted to the fuel discount & possibly 20c per litre discount for 52 weeks).

Let’s look at a few scenarios to help you understand how easy it is to implement the FFL program into your business.

Think of the FFL program as simply providing a “discount” to your clients, but instead of cash, you’re providing it in the form of weekly fuel discounts.

This is the easiest way to get your head around the FFL concept.

The great thing for you is that the “weekly fuel discount bonus” will be perceived by consumers as far more valuable than a 5% or 10% discount! But the reality is that the “fuel discount bonus” is only costing you whatever percentage of your sale you wish to devote to the program (ie: 5%, 7.5% or 10% for example).

When taking out a Fuel For Less license, you simply tell us what percentage of your sale price you wish to devote to the fuel discount system and we’ll recommend the “per litre discount level and number of weeks of the benefit.”

You see, the actual “discount per litre” and “number of weeks” are variables which can be adjusted according to your FFL budget.

You might like to provide 10 cents per litre each week for a longer period – or alternatively, you may care to have a higher “cents per litre discount” over a shorter period.

Can Be Tailer – Made To Suit Your Business!

The great thing about the FFL Big Ticket system is that it is very flexible and can be tailor-made to suit the nature of your business and the profile of your consumers.

We suggest an apportionment of 5%, 7.5% or 10% of your sale price, but we can adjust this to suit your needs.

For example, if you’re selling a $100,000 boat, you may prefer to devote just 2.5% to the fuel discount offer.

Have a look at the table below and you’ll get a good understanding of how flexible this FFL program is.

We’ve selected a few products and services ranging from hundreds of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars – and you can see the types of “fuel discount offers” that could be promoted, depending upon what percentage of the sale price you wanted to devote to the fuel discount program.

Again, please understand these are merely “examples.”

How Does The Customer Claim Their Weekly Fuel Rebate?

Once you make a sale, you deposit the relevant “fuel discount rebate amount” into our FFL Kitty.

For example, if you decide to devote 10% of let’s say, a $5,000 sale price to the program, you’d deposit $500 into the FFL Kitty.

In an example like this, we might recommend that your offer be “50c per litre fuel discount for 20 weeks!” (50c x 50 litres = $25 per week. Over 20 weeks, that’d cost you $500)

Then your customer simply keeps their fuel receipt from any fuel outlet & photographs it with their smartphone.

He or she then goes to the FFL redemption website & uses their personal login to make their weekly rebate claim (by simply uploading a photo of their fuel receipt).

We then deposit the cash rebate direct into their bank account.

(If your customer doesn’t have a smartphone or is perhaps not familiar with computers, don’t worry – we can accommodate this via fax or mail facilities. It’s not a problem, we’re used to sending cheques to some people.)

Here’s an example of a caravan company using our Fuel For Less program –

with buyers getting 25c per litre fuel discount every week for a whole year!

With caravans being sold for $30,000 & $40,000 or more, giving a bonus to buyers of 25c per litre per week for an entire year is a relatively modest investment by this caravan company.

But to the potential purchasers of a caravan, a “bonus gift” like this can be the persuasion tool which makes them decide upon this company rather than the alternatives.

Whilst 25c per litre every week for a year sounds like an incredible giveaway to any consumer, the reality is that the cost to the caravan company is a mere $650…………. much less than what most caravan companies and car dealerships give away in terms of price discounts when trying to convert a prospect!

The maths is as follows:
  • 25c x 50 litres = $12.50
  • $12.50 x 52 weeks = $650

Ask yourself this question – do you perceive a massive “fuel discount” of 25c per litre EVERY SINGLE WEEK FOR A YEAR to be more valuable than a $650 discount off the regular price of a $40,000 caravan?

If you’re like most people, your answer is “yes.”

And that’s why this fuel discount program is so potent!

In “Big Ticket” cases like this, it’s an incredibly powerful conversion tool.

imgs_07 Here’s the large outdoor freeway billboard, positioned close to the sales centre – promoting the 25c per litre for a year “offer!” imgs_11 Display posters were all around the sales centre, reminding prospects of the crazy offer that was available.
imgs_18 If you are a Big Ticket business, make sure you promote your fuel discount offer on the homepage of your website – and throughout the entire site!

What If You’re An Online Business?

The FFL Program is designed to suit both offline and online businesses, so if your business is purely online (or a number of your sales are via online), you simply provide your clients a Username and Password instead of a FFL Membership Card.

The only difference to the “offline version” of FFL is that when someone purchases online and goes to your Thank You Page, they will see a Fuel For Less digital certificate.

They’re invited to click on this certificate and they’ll be taken to the Fuel For Less website, where they’ll be able to add their most recent purchase with you to their FFL account balance.

And of course, the level of their purchase or purchases will determine their fuel discount amount and number of weeks validity.

The same format as the “offline world” applies – ie: for every $50 in their account, the customer is eligible for a 10c per litre fuel discount rebate.

He or she simply saves their fuel receipt, uploads a photo of it to the FFL redemption website & we pay the cash amount direct into their bank account (if their FFL Account balance warrants the claim of course).

You deposit an amount in the FFL Kitty (for example, say $1,000) & as it diminishes, we will notify you so you can top it up.

It’s similar to the “Tollway system”, where you’re notified when your balance is getting low.

So if your business is “online”, no problems at all – basically the same format exists as the BIG TICKET system for “offline” companies.

So as you can see, whether your business is offline or online, the FFL program has been designed to suit just about all circumstances!
